Music as a living language

Welcome to my site about music, innovation and instrumental education.

In my work as a bassoonist and conservatoire teacher I find it fascinating to discover how instrumentalists develop into musicians. Music as a living language is the concept I’ve designed, and which allows me to work on methods for instrumental education. I’ve been inspired in my quest by my extensive experience as a practising musician and by sources such as the Kodály philosophy and method, Creative Music Making and Improvisation.

Because I’m eager to gain a wealth of musical experience, I continue to develop new methods to increase my own musical enjoyment and that of others.

This site contains articles, visual material, information about workshops and a great deal more. In other words, a rich source of musical inspiration!
